Vidar is nicely balanced with clean movement including strong reach and drive and a genuine single track gait. His temperament is truly outstanding. He's everybody's buddy...even if you don't have food!
He finished his Championship easily, but developed Vitiligo after two years of age. Vitiligo is believed to be an autoimmune disorder. It causes a loss of pigment in patches on the face and/or body. The heredity of the disease is not known, so he was neutered (please don't tell him... he doesn't know).
Vidar is a shining example of the versatility of the Belgian Tervuren breed and excels in many different competitive events. He's a truly fabulous boy and greatly enjoys Obedience, Rally, Herding and his work teaching 4-H kids how to show dogs. His willingness to please and genuine Hollywood Ham personality make him a joy to train and compete with. He is my obedience partner, exhibition dog, puppy sitter, best friend and THE hiking dog extraordinaire!
Despite the spots, he's still The Man!
